Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 FG "Voltage Purple" Is Inspired by the Air Max Plus

During a recent game, Paris Saint-Germain star forward Kylian Mbappé debuted a pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 FG inspired by the Air Max Plus. Drawing from the popular “Voltage Purple” colorway, the pair of soccer cleats are expected to be released during the Spring 2024 season and showcase the sportswear brand’s mixing of innovative performance technology with its longstanding style outlook.
The Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 FG “Voltage Purple” features a high-top design and expresses a classic mix of “Voltage Purple” and “Total Orange.” The shoe also features a black knitted sock-like ankle collar and matching TPU reinforcements. Additional detailing comes in the form of 3M reflective elements at the toes, “ZM AIR” branded insoles and heels, and Zoom Air-assisted outsoles.
The shoes come complete with an accessory bag and special packaging marking the Air Max Plus “Voltage Purple” inspiration.
Priced at $310 USD, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 FG “Voltage Purple” is set to be available sometime this Spring 2024.
