Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé is officially taking his Nike partnership both on and off the pitch with the launch of an expansive new footwear capsule. Scheduled to arrive this month, the highly anticipated collection bridges the gap between high-performance sportswear and Parisian street culture, introducing new versions of the Mercurial Superfly football boot alongside the recently revived Air Max Plus VII.

The overarching design language of the capsule serves as a heartfelt love letter to the iconic 2002 Nike Mercurial Vapor 1. The footwear arrives in a striking “Plum Eclipse/Metallic Silver/Barely Volt” color palette, acting as a modern tribute to the legendary “Dark Cinder” and “Chrome Lime” hues famously worn by football greats in the early 2000s.

On the lifestyle front, Mbappé’s take on the 2005-era Air Max Plus VII—a silhouette affectionately known as the “Tn” in French streetwear circles—features a muted plum mesh upper adorned with silver digital dot prints for a retro-futuristic aesthetic. The classic sneaker replaces traditional Tuned Air branding with custom “KM Air” badges on the tongue and footbed.

The performance-focused Mercurial Superfly 10 cleats perfectly mirror this energy, sporting a brownish-taupe base heavily contrasted by a bright lime green Swoosh and silver pill-shaped graphics extending from the heel. Signature “KM” tongue logos and “ZM Air” branding round out the premium, pitch-ready design.

The Kylian Mbappé x Nike Mercurial Superfly and Air Max Plus VII collection is scheduled to release on March 2, 2026, via Nike and select global retailers.
