New Balance Debuts a 550 Trio Crafted With Patent Leather
Offering a pop of gloss on the popular silhouette.
New Balance is ringing in the new year with a selection of 550s constructed with patent leather.
The upcoming trio trades the silhouette’s traditional leather and suede craftsmanship for glossy leather, offering the build in iterations of white, black and blue. The patent leather shines on the “N” panel logo, mudguards, heel and overlays, while other orthodox branding can be found on the “NB” tongue tag, insoles and heel. All three pairs rest on a white midsole and either a black or blue outsole, while white laces tie the models together for a clean finish.
