Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Receives a Bulls' Black and Red Makeover
How ironic for the Round Mound of Rebound.
The Nike Air Max2 CB 94 is starting off 2024 with a classic black and red colorway. To basketball fans, the silhouette was made popular by Charles Barkley who famously played for the Sixers, Suns and Rockets. Throughout Barkley’s career, he spent much of his time going up against one of his greateset adversaries, Michael Jordan. While the Round Mound of Rebound never teamed up with his close friend, a new mashup of what could have been has now been immortalized in the “Bulls” edition of the Air Max2 CB 94s.
Dropping in a black and gym red rendition, the shoe features a breathable nubuck base in the red. With ventilation friendly perforations, the shoes’ leather overlays are in black, adding a classic touch to the retro shoes. The shoe also included white accents on the perforated layers, tongue logos and “Nike” embroidery on the side. The shoe sat atop a white rubber sole which showed off the red Air Max heel units to round out the design.
Look out for the Nike Air Max2 CB 94 “Bulls” or “Black/Gym Red” arriving this summer at select retailers and online at Nike for $170 USD.
