Maggie Rogers is giving fans exactly what they want in 2024: new music. The indie singer has been busy over the past year performing her 2022 LP, Surrender.

In 2023, she was quiet in terms of new music while on a headlining tour throughout North America, where she performed with support from Soccer Mommy and Alvvays. Her sole streaming release arrived in the form of a guest feature on the Zach Bryan track “Dawns.”

Rogers has now returned to social media to share a snippet of an unreleased single. While the singer didn’t reveal the title of the song, fans are presuming it’s “Don’t Forget Me,” which she performed at live shows last summer, as well as previewed on TikTok. She also declined to share an exact release date, merely writing “see you in 2024.”

“So close the door and change the channel / Give me somethin’ I can handle / A good lover or someone that’s nice to me,” she sings in the chorus.
