Freddie Gibbs and Madlib Announce 'Piñata' Anniversary Shows
MADGIBBS is getting back together – along with El Michels Affair, Eyedress and Pink Siifu – to celebrate 10 years of the album.
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are commemorating 10 years of their collaborative LP Piñata in the best possible way – by taking the 2014 album on a commemorative run of shows. Aptly named Teñata, MADGIBBS is linking up again for three US performances.
The first show goes down in Boston, Massachusetts on May 10 at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway, followed by another east coast show on May 11 at New York City’s Rooftop at Pier 17. The duo will trek to the Midwest to close out the quick run, wrapping up at Chicago’s The Salt Shed on May 19.

El Michels Affair, who previously joined MADGIBBS for a 2019 Tiny Desk Concert, will support at all three shows. Eyedress will accompany the pair at the Boston and Chicago shows, with Pink Siifu joining in NYC.
