Bulova’s New Meteorite Lunar Pilot Nods to Its History With NASA
Outfitted with a real meteorite dial.

Bulova’s latest offering is a limited-edition Meteorite Lunar Pilot timepiece — another modern reissue of the brand’s ongoing mission to revisit its archival references. For this release, Bulova looks to the chronograph timepiece that was worn by the Apollo 15’s mission commander back in 1971. The wristwatch was crafted to withstand astronomical conditions to help the astronaut keep track of time and resource reserves.
In commemorating the brand’s historical ties with NASA, this new wristwatch faithfully recreates the original wristwatch in its exact dimensions. Measuring 43.5mm in diameter and attired in a sandblasted titanium and stainless steel build, the time-teller stars a two-tone dial outfitted with the Muonionalusta Meteorite — the oldest meteorite type that’s known to man.
Equipped with 50 meters of water resistance, the time-teller runs on the NP20 High Precision Quartz (HPQ) chronograph movement — the brand’s Japan-made quartz caliber known for its ultra-high frequency of 262.144 kHz. A special engraving depicting an astronaut on the moon can be spotted on the watch’s caseback alongside its unique batch number and the date of the Apollo 15 mission.
Limited to 5,000 units worldwide, the Meteorite Limited Edition Lunar Pilot is now available to purchase on Bulova’s official website for the price of $1,495 USD.
