Kim Kardashian, Nicola Peltz and More Star in Balenciaga's New "Closet Campaign"

Shot by Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign pictures the brand’s Le City Bag inside celebrities’ closets.

Kim Kardashian is wasting no time in fulfilling her contractual duties as the newest global brand ambassador for Balenciaga. Just one day after assuming the bold title, the reality-turned-mega star has headlined the label’s all-new “Closet Campaign,” which sees her pose with Balenciaga’s Le City Bag inside the walk-in accessories closet at her house.

Shot by legendary fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign also stars actresses Roh Yoon Seo and Nicola Peltz, model Paloma Elsesser, costume designer and stylist Patricia Field and fashion influencer Devon Lee Carlson. Each subject stands before their own awe-inspiring closet, holding the Le City Bag: an archive-inspired accessory that enlists Arena leather with vintage detailing like original-sized studs, laced zipper pulls and lacquered leather handles. Notably, Balenciaga’s Le Cagole and the Hourglass bag also appear in the campaign.

In addition to the sartorial imagery, the campaign’s delivery includes a short-form video of billionaire Kardashian, who playfully guesses how many designer bags she has on display in her museum-like closet. (For the record, she guessed 130. The correct answer was 129. So close!)
