Dubbed the “Lux Duct,” the model is a distressed take on the classic silhouette that pays homage to the skaters who used DIY techniques — the most common one with duct tape — to elongate the life of their Slip-Ons that have been worn out from skating. The upper is crafted with leather and features the brand’s iconic checkboard pattern, while overlays of black duct tape run from the sides of the toeboxes down to the midsole, on the heel and along the collar. Additional detailing lands on the branded toebox tag, box heel logo and Ultracush insoles and white midsole scraped with dirt, finally resting on the tried and tested waffle outsole.
Check out the shoe above. The model is available now as a BILLY’s Japan exclusive, priced at ¥17,050 JPY (approximately $115 USD).
