This year’s Geneva Watch Days have officially come to an end over the weekend. From August 29 to September 2, nearly 40 brands spanning luxury Maisons to independent horologers, have gathered to showcase their latest timekeeping offerings. Looking back on all the timepieces unveiled at the event, read on for Hypebeast’s top picks.

Greubel Forsey Balancier Convexe S² & Double Balancier Convexe in Carbon

Swiss Haute Horologerie Maison, Greubel Forsey has unveiled its first carbon builds in smaller cases. In offering its wearers lightness and durability, the key to these new references lies in its slimmer and more compact sizes that also uphold the same technical functionalities and stunning details as seen on its larger counterparts.

The Balancier Convexe S² in carbon arrives in a 41.5mm case diameter, the dial highlights a double openworked arched bridged between the 3 and 4 o’clock marks, complete with a high-level finish on its titanium components. Beating at its core is the 303-part movement, geared with a 72-hour chronometric power reserve.

As for the Double Balancier Convexe, the reference is elevated with added modern appeal as with its new and smaller 42.5mm case size. Two variations are offered, one imbued with a bold iridescent green finish, while the other takes on a more simple and elegant black color scheme.

Both models are offered in an ultra-limited run of 22 examples for each version. Read more about the watches and their availabilities on Grebel Forsey’s official website.

H. Moser & Cie. x MB&F Streamliner Pandamonium

Dubbed by the makers as a unique “Performance Art piece,” the Streamliner Pandamonium is a stunning one-off novelty that will be auctioned off at Only Watch in November. Presented in H. Moser’s signature cushion-shaped case and integrated steel bracelet, the watch catches the eye with its mesmerizing aquamarine fumé dial, which perfectly amalgamates both brands’ core aesthetics. Geared with a minute-repeater complication, the chimes are led by the miniature DJ Panda and its “mixing desk” at the watch’s 10 o’clock direction.

The Streamliner Pandamonium is estimated to sell for 300,000 – 400,000 CHF (approximately $341,463 – $455,284 USD), more information is available at the piece’s dedicated page on Only Watch’s website.

De Bethune DB28XP “Kind of Blue”

A reimagination and amalgamation of two of the Maison’s most remarkable models, the DB28XP “Kind of Blue” features a gorgeous case crafted entirely out of heated and blued titanium while also sporting ultra-slim dimensions. A modern take on guilloché, the Microlight dial is dubbed a work of art itself by the watchmaker as it interplays with shadow, and light, thus creating a dynamic yet almost-architectural finish.

Running on the DB2115v12 manual-winding movement, the caliber is geared with De Bethune’s own in-house self-regulating twin barrel that ensures an impressive 6-day power reserve. Only 25 examples are made with the price upon inquiry via the Maison’s official website.

Laurent Ferrier Série Atelier “Sport Auto 40”

In homage to the brand’s racing roots, the new “Sport Auto 40” timepiece draws its inspiration from the Porsche 935 Turbo number 40 that participated in the 1979 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. From the viridian green gradient, opaline finish, and fuchsia accents to orange-lumed details, the dial itself commemorates the legendary racing car. As for movement, it’s equipped with a resilient LF270.01 caliber, this also marks Laurent Ferrier’s second self-winding with a calendar complication.

Released as a 40-piece limited edition, the reference has a price point of 51,000 CHF (approximately $57,729 USD). Head over to Laurent Ferrier’s official website to inquire about its availability.

Ressence TYPE 3 EE

Debuting a refreshing and aptly named Eucalyptus Green design, Ressence’s new TYPE 3 EE reference evokes a cool yet soft mood inspired by lush forests and nature. Its ultra-modern dial emphasizes eye-catching colors and fun graphics, complete with an oil-infused upper chamber that cancels out any refraction of light. The oil-filled mechanical timepiece operates on the patented ROC 3, the brand’s own Orbital Convex System that is run by a customized 2824/2 caliber, which offers up to 36 hours of power reserve.

Priced at 38,200 CHF (approximately $43,155 USD), the Eucalyptus Green TYPE 3 EE is set to release in early October via Ressence’s official retailers.
