Cardi B has officially announced the release date of her upcoming Megan Thee Stallion collaboration, “Bongos.”

Taking to social media to confirm the news, Cardi unveiled the cover art and confirmed a September 8 release date for “Bongos.” The upcoming track will mark the pair’s first joint since their 2020 hit “WAP,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has been certified 7x platinum as of writing.

It remains to be seen whether “Bongos” will appear on Cardi’s upcoming album. She previously told Vogue Mexico that she’s busy with the album’s cover art and several other ideas “because it’s definitely coming up.” She added, “Everyone always tells me I should put the record out now, they did when I released ‘WAP’ [with Megan Thee Stallion] and when I released ‘Up,’ but I always let them know I’m not going to wait long after all these singles. So stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon.”

Check out the cover art below. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Bongos” drops September 8.
