New York City rap heads, rejoice: The Alchemist is linking up with two of the city’s prime lyricists – MIKE and Wiki – to offer up a full-length collaborative project. Entitled Faith Is A Rock, the album bridges the past and future of NYC hip-hop in a cohesive yet captivating collection of music.

While the loaded LP marks a moment for NYC’s rap legacy at large, this stacked collab also marks a full circle moment for MIKE and Wiki – one of MIKE’s earliest career performances was in support of Wiki during the rapper’s 5 Borough Tour in Brooklyn back in 2017. The Alchemist previously tapped the NYC rappers last year for the “One Day” three-pack last November, which sees the inclusion of “Be Realistic” and “Odd Ways.” Faith Is A Rock hits streaming on September 22 via The Alchemist’s ALC Records.

The Alchemist’s been making big moves all over the board lately, just yesterday announcing the Voir Dire Tour with Earl Sweatshirt in support of the duo’s eponymous album-that’s-an-NFT. The tour sees MIKE as the main supporting act and features Black Noi$e as the other.

In other music news: Jay-Z’s infamous “Off White Lexus” is pulling up to the Brooklyn Public Library as part of limited edition exhibit, “The Book of HOV.”
