PlayStation has revealed that a set of premium console covers and DualSense controllers are slated to release for the PS5 via its PlayStation Direct store.

The accessories, dubbed the “Deep Earth Collection,” mark the first premium offering for the Direct store, which started releasing covers in 2022. Both the customizable console covers and DualSense controllers come available in three new metallic colors, namely Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue and Sterling Silver — which PlayStation says draws on “inspiration from the beautiful and powerful hues found in the depths of planet Earth.”

With their premium finish in mind, the covers cost $5 USD more than standard covers available in the shop, bringing them to a total of $59.99 USD. As for the DualSense controllers, they’ll be available for a retail price of $74.99 USD, which is the same as other available options.

PlayStation shared that pre-orders will begin via its official Direct store on October 4 but that delivery will take place in waves, with Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue to launch in early November and Sterling Silver to follow in late January.
