New York Fashion Week has officially ended, kicking off the four biggest weeks in the industry for Spring/Summer 2024. NYFW come hot off the heels of Seoul Fashion Week, where Hypebeast was also on the ground documenting some of the best looks.

As always, New York City brings a bevy of eclectic looks along with people from all over the globe attending some of the biggest shows in the city. Nothing was short of a spectacle with Peter Do making his debut for Helmut Lang, while Coach had animal rights activists storm its runway. Some of the world’s biggest stars including Emily Ratajkowski, Blake Lively, Ellen Pompeo, Rita Ora, just to name a few, were seen front row during NYFW.

Though the pomp and circumstance of the week was sure to bring the drama and international eyes to the Big Apple, the street style was not to be missed. New York weather confused most with days being incredibly rainy and others in great humidity and heat. Nonetheless, showgoers showed off their best dressed. While more often than not classic silhouettes like oversized blazers, tailored trousers and button down shirts are of the go to chic choice, New York Fashion Week attendees showed their willingness to dress up for the occasion. Bodice pieces accentuated the feminine figure, while in menswear sheer tops showed a sexier side to fashion. Sunglasses were the necessary accessory as were trucker hats and caps speaking to the typical American styling. Take a look at the best street style outfits from NYFW SS24 above.
