Norse Projects Contemplates Collective Consciousness for FW23 ARKTISK Collection
Marking its third ARKTISK installment.
This past March, Norse Projects revealed its second ARKTISK collection, which harbored a keen focus on functionality with highlights like the GORE-TEX 3L Hooded Parka Jacket and waterproof bottoms. Now the Copenhagen-based brand is back with its new Fall/Winter 2023 ARKTISK collection, which marks the brand’s third installment in the series.
Although functionality still remains at each collection’s core, this time around the brand sets its sights on exploring collective consciousness. With it, Norse Projects takes a closer look at the ideals, knowledge, attitudes and more that influence groups within society. Also dubbed, PROJECT 703, the collection looks at the embracing of societal similarities and differences to become stronger as a unit and to conquer challenges in life.
With Norse Projects, some of these challenges lay out in the field. As such, the new collection is equipped with a lineup of weather-ready clothing like multi-fabric jackets, insulated lightweight jackets, packable puffers, vests, waterproof bottoms and footwear. Clothing highlights include a deep gray nylon and cotton hybrid puffer vest jacket alongside technical blue/gray waterproof pants. Rounding out the collection is footwear, which offers up hiking-style shoes and technical tennis shoes that are both stylish and fit for outdoor activities.
