Nivada Grenchen Reveals Limited-Edition F77 Smoked Dial
A modern twist on its 1977 classic example.
Nivada Grenchen has unveiled its latest creation, the F77 Brown Smoked Dial watch, an extension of its renowned F77 collection. The release is meant to exemplify the brand’s Swiss craftsmanship as well as provide a modern touch to the iconic 1977 classic design.
The new F77 Smoked Dial watch stands out with its embossed carbon pattern dial set in a warm brown tone, offset by dazzling silver applied indexes — by combining these elements the brand aims to merge traditional and contemporary design.
Equipped with a 37mm case fashioned from 316L Stainless Steel in a silver hue, the watch’s exterior boasts alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes, which extend to the glass. This results in a sturdy yet sophisticated watch, a distinction further accentuated by its 12.6mm case thickness.
Powering the watch is the SOPROD P024 Caliber 11 ½” automatic movement, humming along at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasting a power reserve of 38 hours to ensure that wearers are graced with both accuracy and reliability.
At a reasonable retail price of $1,150 USD, Nivada Grenchen expressed that the limited-edition F77 Smoked Dial aims to democratize luxury without compromising on the Swiss quality hallmark.
Pre-orders, which first opened on September 14, are currently still available at the time of writing via the watchmaker’s official site — with delivery expected to take place by the end of October.
