Since being officially revealed just over a year ago, the Nike Air Max Scorpion has enjoyed a consistent flow of new colorways — ranging from gorpcore moments to taking on intricate cable systems. However, several months have passed since Nike last utilized the sneaker in its previews, until now.

The latest look to touch down on the Air Max Scorpion sees a combination of “Black” and “Anthracite” create a monochromatic finish on the lifestyle sneaker that follows previous releases such as the “Triple Black” and “White Mint.” Its signature Flyknit-chenille blend appears at the upper once again in black with matching Swooshes. From there, the Air-infused sole unit offers a height boost with its eye-catching size emphasized courtesy of its gray finish that includes semi-translucent detailing throughout.

We’ve yet to hear from the Swoosh regarding the launch of its Air Max Scorpion in “Black/Anthracite.” Look for it to touch down on shelves by the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $250 USD.
