Following the announcement of the third signature shoe from Zion Williamson with the Jordan Brand, a detailed look at the “Black/White” colorway has surfaced on Instagram. Named the Jordan Zion 3, the shoe continues to expand on the New Orleans Pelican’s first two court-ready sneakers.

With the Jordan Zion 3, the shoe utilizes Formula23 foam as well as a Zoom Air Unit at the underfoot for added cushioning and support. The stack height is lower than the previous two signature shoes while the rubber herringbone pattern can be seen at the traction. The upper takes on a design that utilizes Williamson’s foot launching through mud, referencing the player talking about feeling as if he has “made it out of the mud,” creating the unique color splatter. The splatter for this particular colorway sees a combination of the classic white and black throughout the shoe. The midfoot, heel, laces and inner lining are highlighted in black while the front of the shoe is in white. The shoe sits atop a semi-translucent outsole to round out the design.

Look out for the Jordan Zion 3 “Black/White” expected to drop in December 2023 in select retailers and online at Nike.
