A. Lange & Söhne Presents a Black-Dialed Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar in Platinum
Featuring an integrated day/night indicator that transitions from a blue gradient to a starry backdrop.
On the occasion of Watches & Wonders Shanghai, A. Lange & Söhne just presented a new Lange 1 Perpetual Calendar timepiece.
Housed in a 950 platinum build, the new time-teller arrives in a 41.9mm wide case starring a dark and sleek dial. The dial sports the Lange 1’s signature outsize date as well as an off-centered dial design in a tonal black, all accentuated with silver-hued hand, numerals, and day-date indications.
The implemented moon-phase display is equipped with an integrated day/night indicator, which transitions from an azure blue hue to a starry backdrop. Aside from its beautiful display, the moon-phase feature is built with precision in mind.
Viewable from its sapphire crystal open caseback, the watch runs on the in-house L021.3 self-winding caliber. Its plates and bridges are crafted from untreated German silver, geared with a 21-carat gold unidirectional winding rotor with platinum centrifugal mass. When fully wound, the timepiece is capable of running up to 50 hours.
