Oris Nods to the Wadden Sea With Its Dat Watt Limited Edition II Aquis Diver
Featuring a gradient dial inspired by the colors of salt marshes.

With the release of the Dat Watt Limited Edition II, Oris marks its renewed collaboration with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat (CWSS). The organization is dedicated to conserving the Wadden Sea, an area that’s known as the world’s largest unbroken tidal flats system, and habitat to an array of flora and fauna.
Nodding to the serene hues of Wadden Sea’s salt marshes, the limited timepiece stars a shimmering green dial with a slight ombré effect. This is further accentuated with lume-filled hour markers, hands, as well as the unusual circular date display at the center of the dial.
Arriving in the sleek and evergreen Aquis Diver silhouette, the timepiece features a 42.5mm stainless steel case and a uni-directional rotating bezel with a gray tungsten bezel insert. Boasting a 38-hour power reserve and 30 bar of water resistance, the reference runs on the in-house Oris 743 movement that’s geared with essential timekeeping functionalities.
Turning over to the caseback, the piece is outfitted with custom engravings depicting the Wadden Sea shoreline. Encircling the scenic decor is the Dat Watt Limited Edition lettering, as well as a unique batch number. The timepiece comes with a multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet that matches its case material, complete with an additional blue rubber strap.
Priced at $3,200 USD, the Dat Watt Limited Edition II is available for purchase over at Oris. It’s limited to 2,009 pieces, a number that commemorates the year CWSS received its World Heritage Site status. The watch also offers an option of selecting your own unique number from the batch.
