Update: Last week, Epic Games teased its latest collaboration for Fortnite, teaming up with Jujutsu Kaisen to bring the “Break the Curse!” event to the always-evolving game. As indicated by the teaser, four of Jujutsu High’s beloved sorcerers have been added as Outfits in-game: Satoru Gojo, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji Itadori. While the first three Outfits are available for purchase in the Item Shop, Yuji Itadori can be unlocked in his school uniform and streetwear looks via the “Break the Curse!” Quests. Similar to the recent Star Wars collaboration, the quest line offers other themed items such as the Nue Glider and Shadow Play: Toad Emote. Additional cosmetics from the collaboration are also available as the “Break the Curse!” event has kicked off today, with its conclusion scheduled for August 25 at 2am EDT.

Original Story: Over the past decade, Fortnite has established a collaborative roster that very few other franchises in gaming can compare to. From some of the biggest brands to beloved worlds, Epic Games has successfully leveraged the title to create a universe filled with characters from all sorts of places. Previously, Fortnite has hosted popular anime series such as Attack on Titan and Dragon Ball Super. Adding to the list now is Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK).

With season two of JJK four episodes deep, the internationally-adored show has again brewed up excitement, making this collaboration a timely fit. To announce the partnership, four of Tokyo Jujutsu High’s sorcerers are showcased in-game: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and the all-powerful Satoru Gojo. While no content has been officially confirmed, it’s expected that the four will appears as cosmetic options in-game with various complementary accessories available for sale as well. In addition to this, it’s possible the game presents special items that tie to the franchise, similar to the Kamehameha item from the Dragon Ball event.

Get ready as Jujutsu Kaisen‘s sorcerers make their way to Fortnite in the game’s v25.30 update, set to release on August 8.

Stay tuned for updates from this collaboration and for other headlines from the gaming industry, the right to repair movement has taken a step forward with Microsoft releasing Xbox controller parts and a video guide for consumers.
