Feng Chen Wang's Crocs Collaboration Is Straight From the Future
Giving the Crocs Siren Clog and the Echo Clog aggressively modern makeovers.
Chinese-born, London-based designer Feng Chen Wang recently presented her Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week. Wang’s offering expanded on her culture with natural references, giving us a sneak peek at her unexpected collaboration with Crocs.
She has previously worked with Converse on two-in-one Chuck 70s, joining Crocs to reimagine its classic footwear styles. The designer’s deconstructed identity reigns supreme, bringing a futuristic approach to Crocs’ Siren Clog and the Echo Clog silhouettes.
Both pairs boast transformative details that can be altered and detached, with the latter receiving perforated black leather uppers with silver Feng Chen Wang pins and removable ankle cuffs for a boot-like effect. The heeled Siren Clog dons jumbo-sized platform soles and strapped mid-foot braces, converting into a knee-high biker boot with metallic heel lettering.
Take a closer look at Feng Chen Wang’s debut Crocs collaboration in the gallery above. Both pairs will be available via the designer’s website on September 1 at 10 a.m. BST.
