MB&F Readies the HM9 Sapphire Vision Editions in Two New Colorways
Arriving in White Gold Blue and Yellow Gold Green.
MB&F has just unveiled the HM9 Sapphire Vision editions in two new colors.
First revealed in 2018, the HM9 Flow – short for Horological Machine N°9 - was introduced as a piece that nods to mid-century automotive and aeronautic designs. In 2021, MB&F introduced the first run of HM9-SV editions, created with the intention to fully showcase its horological movement. As a result, the HM9-SV models are all encased in sapphire crystals, where every angle of the caliber is in clear view.
Arriving in Yellow Gold Green, and White Gold Blue, the two new references possess all their preceding models’ iconic characteristics and technological specifications. From its 45 hours of power reserve, and 30 meters of water resistance, to the mesmerizing display of the two fully independent balance wheels with planetary differential on its engine.
Paired with a dark brown leather strap, the White Gold Blue option features an 18k white gold frame and PVD-coated blue engine. As for the Yellow Gold Green, its inner-workings are treated in green PVD, while its overall appearance is accented with an 18k yellow gold frame and accompanied by a black leather strap.
The new HM9-SV Editions are priced at $490,000 USD each, both produced in extremely limited numbers of five examples. Head over to MB&F’s official website to find out more about their availabilities.
