Zodiac Expands Its Super Sea Wolf Lineup With New Ceramic Build
Arriving in three breezy, summery hues.
Following the release of the Super Sea Wolf Compression timepieces, Zodiac just expanded the retro-inspired model in a ceramic build, available in three summery colorways.
Imbued with retro codes, the Super Sea Wolf Ceramic is encased in a high-polish, hardened ceramic construction that houses a long-wearing steel core. Aside from being resistant to scratches, corrosion, and fading, the ceramic cases are incredibly lightweight and easy to wear, measuring 41mm in diameter, and 13.2mm in thickness.
In the spirit of the Super Sea Wolf, the new iterations are geared with 20 ATM water resistance, and powered by the Swiss-made STP 1-11 automatic caliber. It also features the model’s usual rectangular indices and handset, all coated with Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility. Offered in blue, orange, and seafoam green, all variants are equipped with a radiant sunray-finished dial, accompanied by FKM rubber straps in its designated colorway.
On this release, Ryan White, Zodiac’s creative director says “We’ve always been attracted by the allure of ceramic. Not only for its resistance to wear and color fading over time but the opportunities it allows us to explore creatively. These new colorway extensions for summer really embody the Zodiac spirit.”
The trio of Super Sea Wolf Ceramic time-tellers are currently available for the price of $1,795 USD each via Zodiac.
