The upcoming season is gearing up to be a big one for Kevin Durant and it looks like it will be extending beyond the court. The NBA player is bringing back one of its most sought after colorways for his Nike shoe, specifically the Nike KD 4 in “Weatherman.”

The shoe is inspired by the meteorological theme, combining elements of bold design with high performance. Nike KD 4 “Weatherman” originally debuted in 2011 and is set to make a retro return next summer. The striking green, volt and orange color scheme captures the attention of onlookers. The combined colors are inspired by the weather pattern hues of the Doppler radar images. The upper features a graphic overlay that mimics that of weather map symbols. The outsoles are translucent to also showcase a weather map graphic. The Swoosh branding is highlighted in volt while the rest of the upper appears in green and orange and red are utilized for the accented weather-themed graphics. The shoe sits atop a black midsole and outsole to round it all off.

Look out for the Nike KD 4 “Weatherman” in Summer 2024 in select retailers and online at Nike for $130 USD.

In other footwear news, the Jordan Luka 2 “Nebula” has an official release date.
