With the NBA enjoying its much-needed offseason, many eyes have been on emerging talent in not only Summer League, but various high school competitions such as Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) as well. In addition to the high-intensity play, the teenage talent is treated to various special releases from both Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball. For 2023, a special rendition of the Air Jordan 37 released alongside an exclusive LeBron 20.

Now, the Ja 1 has surfaced with the “EYBL” theme. Officially revealed by the Swoosh, the pair features “Melon Tint” and “Jade Ice” across its build. The synthetic upper utilizes the aforementioned peach hue with fuchsia joining in at the Swooshes. From there, a multicolored heel showcases EYBL branding alongside the typical nod to Ja Morant’s number “12.” Black lining matches the black base of the sole’s rear, covered in yellow speckles. Lastly, “Jade Ice” appears at the forefoot portion of the sole unit with a translucent finish at the outsole.

Following the release of the Air Jordan 37 “EYBL” at the start of last month, no news regarding the launch period of future pairs from the collection has been shared by Nike. Look for the Ja 1 “EYBL” to touch down on shelves in the coming months via the Swoosh and select retailers at a price of $110 USD.
