Nike Presents the Electric Air Max 1 "Volt Suede"
Revisiting the popular “Volt” accent color on the iconic sneaker.
For decades, the Air Max line has led Nike’s lifestyle offerings as a go-to for both performance and style. Spearheading this innovation-backed part of the Swoosh, the original Air Max 1 is more popular than ever and Nike continues to capitalize on this with its plethora of colorways released so far this year. Recently, this has included a Puerto Rican-themed “Orange Frost” and its own slide variant.
Now, Nike’s signature “Volt” hue — an electric green — has returned to the classic silhouette. This time around, the bold color is joined by similarly-bright shades from the collar to its midsole. The synthetic base features white at both the toe and throat while a sandy brown appears at the upper’s overlays. Bringing its signature “Volt” flair into the mix, the shoe features the eye-catching color at the Swooshes and mudguard in suede. In addition to this, it appears at the tongue, sockliner and heel branding. Rounding out the sneaker, the Air-infused sole unit combines a white midsole with a mostly-black rubber outsole.
At the time of writing, Nike has not announced any release info regarding the Air Max 1 “Volt Suede.” Stay tuned for updates regarding its launch as it’s currently anticipated to land on shelves in the coming months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a $140 USD price point in women’s sizing.
