MING To Drop Its Second Generation 37.05 Series
Releasing in a limited run of 500 units only.
Two years after MING unveiled its first moonphase reference, the watch brand is back with an updated release under the name of 37.05 Series 2.
At a glance, the second generation model remains faithful to its predecessors’ general features and overall appearance — from its 38mm case size, and sapphire upper dial to accompanying Jean Rosseau Paris leather straps. Upon closer observation, some noticeable changes have been implemented on the new watches. The former gradient textured dial is replaced with a sunray brushed one, which is now also decked with luminous HyCeram stars and cut-outs to emulate the starry sky.
Powering the timepiece is the Sellita SW288-1 manual-winding movement, which is an improved and reworked caliber that was previously used in the preceding model. Visible from its open caseback, the movement is hold in place with anthracite skeletonized bridges, while offering quick set central moon phase, and date indications. It’s capable of serving 40 hours of power reserve as well as withstanding 100 meters underwater.
Retailing for 4,950 CHF (approximately $5,527 USD), the 37.05 Series 2 will be available for purchase starting July 11, 1. p.m. GMT at MING’s official website.
