Bamford Watch Department Partners With Wes Lang for a Solid Gold TAG Heuer Carrera

Bamford Watch Department has joined forces with Wes Lang to put their own spin on a solid gold TAG Heuer Carrera timepiece.
Attired in a 42mm case crafted from 18k yellow gold, the watch follows a mostly gold and black color scheme, accented with touches of red. This applies to everything from the subdials, flange, and handset to the accompanying textile strap. Sitting just above the six o’clock mark is a graphic imprint composed of a flaming skull, and wings protruding from a tire — elements that pretty much sum up Wes Lang’s hallmarked Americana aesthetics.
Operating inside the timepiece is TAG Heuer’s own Heuer 02 caliber, which is geared with 80 hours of power reserve, alongside indicator for hours, minutes, chronograph seconds, as well as a 12-hour chronograph measure.
Offered in a limited run of only 15 pieces, the collaborative Carrera Chronograph is priced at £19,000 GBP (approximately $24,134 USD) and is currently available at Bamford’s official website.
