During Game 3 of the NBA Finals, Udonis Haslem was put in the last 30 seconds to become the oldest player to ever play in the Finals. Set to turn 43 later that week, Haslem topped the previous record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who was 42 years and 58 days old during Game 4 of the ‘89 NBA Finals. The Miami Heat ultimately lost the game 109-94 as the Denver Nuggets secured its 2-1 lead.

Haslem has spent his entire 20-season NBA career with the Heat in which he helped lead the team to all three of its NBA Championships. This season will be his last, and ahead of his last regular-season game, a number of his ex-teammates made a tribute video commemorating his storied career. If the Heat comes out victorious, Haslem will also be the oldest player to ever win an NBA Championship.

Stay tuned as the Heat look to bounce back at home for Game 4.
