Hot on the heels of his collaborative single, “Toxic Trait,” with fellow UK rapper Fredo, South London’s Stormzy has returned once again with a new record titled “Longevity Flow.”
In the dynamic world of UK rap, it has been suggested by various music critics that the average shelf life of a British rapper is around three years. And while there’s a vast majority of UK rhymers that have aligned with this, Stormzy is one musician that has rubbished those claims. Big Mike has set a blueprint within UK rap since his inception 10 years ago, and his new single serves as a testament to his extraordinary ascent in the music industry over the past decade.
Joined by some accompanying visuals, “Longevity Flow” is shot across various locations in London, with the short movie offering a glimpse into Stormzy’s journey over the past year. Notably, the MV welcomes various cameo appearances from world-famous personalities, such as Tom Cruise, Dave, Lewis Hamilton, J Hus, and more.
