Breguet Revisits Its Iconic Chronograph With the Type XX Collection
Featuring military and civilian versions.

Breguet has brought back its iconic pilot watches with the unveiling of its Type XX collection. Inspired by the world of aviation, the new collection not only serves as a tribute to the 1950s Type XX chronograph but also an homage to the pilots who served the Breguet XIV aircraft during World War I.
Comprising a military-inspired version and a civilian variant, both watches are presented in a 42mm steel case accompanied by a galvanic-treated black dial with three chronograph sub-counters. The angular handset, Arabic numerals, the chronograph minute-counter hand, and the triangle on the bezel are all doused in a luminous coating for legibility in dark environments. The lume-coating comes in mint green for the military version, while the civilian-type model features an ivory-hued lume.
Both watches are equipped with 100 meters of water resistance and 60 hours of power reserve. The military version is powered by the 7281 caliber, which is geared with the chronograph, flyback, date, small seconds, as well as a 30-minute totalizer. Likewise, the civilian comes with practically identical functions, with the exception of having 15-minute and 12-hour totalizers, all operated by the caliber 728.
The collection is currently available via Breguet’s official website and select retailers for the price of $18,000 USD each.
