Quavo and Offset Link for “Bad and Boujee” Performance at 2023 Bet Awards
The Migos rappers first live performance since the passing of Takeoff.
Quavo and Offset reunited for their first performance together following the tragic death of fellow Migos Takeoff in November 2022. The two rappers teamed up for a performance of their 2016 hit single “Bad and Boujee” at the 2023 BET Awards on Sunday evening.
Quavo and Offset kicked off the song with just them two, rapping in front of a backdrop of a giant rocket, a nod to the late Takeoff. A few seconds later, curtains lifted to reveal a crew of backup dancers.
As the dancers hit their flow, pyrotechnics spewed from the floor and the rocket was replaced with a photo of Takeoff holding his hand outstretched towards the sky.
The performance marked a cathartic and touching moment for those in the music industry who have been mourning the passing of Takeoff over the past few months, and of course, are simply happy to see Quavoo and Offset performing together again.
