After Pharrell’s debut Spring/Summer 2024 show for Louis Vuitton on the opening night of Paris Fashion Week Men’s, the freshly-appointed creative director enlisted JAY-Z to perform alongside him, exclusively for the crowd in attendance on Paris’ Pont Neuf Bridge. Now, after much anticipation, Louis Vuitton has shared the official footage from the act.
Dripping in custom LV, Hov emerged on a stage situated in the center of the runway to perform tracks including “N***** In Paris,” “PSA,” and his bars on MC Panjabi’s “Beware (Remix).” Additionally, JAY-Z joined Pharrell on their joint cut “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me),” as well as “Frontin.”

Reflecting on the show’s deeper meaning, Pharrell said, “In moments like this, when you’ve been chosen to do something, the sun is shining on you. The quintessential question that I ask myself all the time, and ask people I care about, is, ‘Hey, if the sun is shining on you, what would you do with the light?’ When the sun shined on me for an opportunity like this, it changed my life across the board.”
“If I’m going to get this appointment, I’m going to use it to do two things: one, to share all my learnings as a perpetual student; and two, to share my love and appreciation,” he added. “I’m choosing to shine a light back on this city, these people, all my friends here, who have kept me lifted all this time.”
