Following a brief pause in June last year, the beloved One Piece manga is going on hiatus once again. Earlier this week, on the website for the popular series an announcement was shared revealing that the manga will go on hiatus for four weeks (June 19 to July 10).
The hiatus is due to creator Eiichiro Oda‘s having to go in for surgery to deal with his astigmatism, Oda noted that his astigmatism has caused his vision to be blurry and has been affecting his work. Following Chapter 1087 in the 2023 29th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, the One Piece manga will be returning in the 33rd issue come July 18.
