Bremont Drops Two References Dedicated to Motorsports
Introducing the WR-45 Limited Edition and Jaguar C-Type timepiece.
In the spirit of motorsports, Bremont has unveiled two new time-tellers, each dedicated to celebrating different formats of automotive racing. The lineup consists of a WR-45 limited-edition timepiece and a new C-type model for the brand’s Jaguar Collection.
Launching ahead of the 77th Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the WR-45 chronograph is crafted in partnership with British F1 team, Williams Racing. An embodiment of high performance and extreme durability, the 43mm watch features Bremont’s hallmarked 3-piece Trip-Tick® case construction. Its design harks back to Williams Racing’s FW-45 chassis this season, while the entire watch is doused in black. This is with the exception of white indices and subdials, which are illuminated with touches of electric blue to nod to the racing team’s iconic color schemes. Powering the chronograph is the modified calibre 13 1/4’’’ BE-53AV, offering a 56-hour power reserve, complete with a custom decorated rotor, viewable from the see-through caseback. Limited to 244 pieces, the WR-45 is paired with a Alcantara strap in black, with a matching DLC pin buckle.
In tribute to some of the 20th-century British racing icons, Bremont also unveiled a newly iterated C-type chronograph. Now arriving in a 43mm, 3-piece Trip-Tick® case construction, the piece is also equipped with the modified calibre13 1/4’’’ BE-50AV. The caseback is composed of stainless steel, presented in the style of a decorative coin engraved with the Jaguar C-type hood badge.
The WR-45 is priced at $6,595 USD, while the C-Type Model is priced at $6,495 USD. Both watches are currently available via Bremont’s official website.
