There are a handful of silhouettes in the modern-day sneaker zeitgeist that have sneakerheads in a chokehold, one being the Zoom Vomero 5 by Nike. The lifestyle runner’s ’90s-inspired design language and wealth of striking colorways has resonated with avid gym goers, TikTok fashion content creators and street style aficionados, and it will soon be released in a duo of pink-focused colorways.

One of the installments is reminiscent of the hues that are used to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Mesh bases, Swooshes, ribbed quarter panels and heel cages are sprayed with a burgundy coat while the leather overlays and rear Zoom cushioning pods are dyed in a soft pink that reminds us of celebratory chocolate packaging and rose bouquets. Its counterpart is presented with a more bold approach as the mesh layers are tinted with a barely-visible pink while the Swooshes and cages are brought to life with a more punchy shade. One other noticeable modification here is that the tongue branding has been altered with star shapes and Nike text.

Peep a closer look at the official images gallery above and expect Nike and select retailers to launch these in the coming weeks.
