Standard Issue Reunites With Toyo Tires for "Driver's Club World-Class" Capsule Collection
Featuring logo-laden, French terry cardigans, hoodies, sweatpants and more.

After dropping a collaborative essentials capsule collection in March, California streetwear label Standard Issue has reunited with tire manufacturer, Toyo Tires, and the imprint’s club, Team Toyo, for a second round of co-branded apparel, dubbed the “Driver’s Club World-Class Collection.”
Honoring the Japanese tire brand’s legacy, which dates back to the late 1980s when Toyo first began outfitting racecars, the collection serves up high-quality basics with a heavier emphasis on artistic iconography than before. Among the range, Standard Issue revamps its classic French terry pieces — namely, cardigans, hoodies and sweatpants — with intricate patchwork donning “Team Toyo Driver’s Club” lettering.
Made in Standard Issue’s Vernon facilities, the logo-laden line puts forth the aforementioned silhouettes in an array of tones, including true blue, classic black, cream and heather grey. In addition to the collection’s terry iterations, the capsule hosts T-shirts flaunting all-over “Team Toyo” graphics on their backs, as well as caps tagged with similar “Driver’s Club” script, front and center.
“Members of an automotive team built on Toyo’s world-class tires need to be dressed in world-class clothing,” said Standard Issue in a statement. “This second collaborative offering from the two esteemed parties brings you through a full array of Standard Issue’s high-quality Made In LA garments. A graphic language that speaks to the extremely clean aesthetic of Team Toyo, built on the shared ethos of quality and reliability found at both brands.”
The full Standard Issue x Toyo Tires collection will release on Wednesday, June 7, at 10 a.m. PT exclusively on Standard Issue’s webstore. Check out the full range in the gallery above.
