Shake Shack Honors Middle Eastern Treats With Baklava-Inspired Pistachio Shake

Shake Shack is stepping into summertime with a refreshing take on its classic custard-based shakes. The food chain’s new baklava-inspired Pistachio Shake crosses global borders by honoring the sweet Middle Eastern treat.
Debuting in Hong Kong, Shake Shack’s Pistachio Shake mimics baklava’s flaky pastry dough garnished with candied nuts and sweet honey. The beverage features a vanilla-flavored frozen custard base blended with Italian pistachios and Australian honey for a sweet and savory combination. The shake’s nut-forward recipe is topped with fluffy whipped cream, crisp filo brittle, and crushed pistachios.
Shake Shack’s Pistachio Shake will release exclusively in Hong Kong on June 6. Try the item over the summer until it’s gone on July 23.
