Shake Shack and chef Jeremy Fall have linked for a one-day-only breakfast collaboration at the burger chain’s original Madison Square Park location, translating two of Fall’s projects into a pair of morning specials. The menu draws on Drugstore, his all-day concept, and Short Order, his street-side breakfast show, reworking both through Shake Shack’s kitchen.
The savory half of the menu comes from the Short Order side. The Breakfast Chopped Cheese reworks the New York bodega staple with Shack breakfast sausage, applewood-smoked bacon, and American cheese chopped together on the grill, the same technique that defines a classic chopped cheese. It is finished with hard-boiled eggs, lettuce, tomato, and onion, stacked on a toasted double potato bun, with a house-made deviled egg sauce served on the side for dipping.
The drink leans into the Drugstore concept and its nostalgic streak. The Orange Dream Smoothie starts from Shake Shack’s house-made vanilla custard and blends in an all-organic lineup of orange juice, mango, cauliflower, vanilla collagen, maple syrup, vanilla extract, coconut cream, and orange zest. The result is engineered to echo the flavor of an orange creamsicle, folding a functional-ingredient list into a deliberately throwback profile.
Both items were co-created by Shake Shack Executive Chef John Karangis and Fall, and neither is sticking around. The collaboration is a strictly limited affair, available for a two-hour window at a single location before it disappears for good, making it a one-morning-only outing rather than a rollout with a second act.
The Shake Shack x Jeremy Fall breakfast menu is available Tuesday, September 22 from 8 to 10 a.m., exclusively at the Madison Square Park Shake Shack.
