In celebration of Pride Month, the NFL is releasing a special collaborative capsule with Opening Ceremony co-founder Humberto Leon.

With his broad reach and influence in the fashion industry, Leon’s collaboration with NFL continues to be rooted in pushing forward his ultimate goal of brining people closer together at the intersection of culture, art and fashion. The collection is the first Pride capsule for the American football league and consists of a selection of starter t-shirts, jackets, new era caps, rally towels and more in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. When speaking about collaborating with the NFL, Leon said in a statement, “Football is an integral part of the American landscape, and the NFL has shown the ability to bring people together to root, cheer, and celebrate together. While growing up in Los Angeles as a Raiders fan, I loved being able to showcase my hometown pride.” He continued, “Working with the NFL on their first capsule collection tied to the celebration of LGBTQ pride was a full circle moment in my career, and I am eager to share a collection that embodies football, love and inclusivity.”

Tying together the idea of inclusivity and love for all, the collection features pieces with taglines such as “Football is Love” and “Football for Everyone.” The iconic Pride rainbow is incorporated into the designs as an ombre aesthetic. The pieces from the collection will be worn by NFL’s employee resource group, NFL Pride, while participating as a part of this month’s Pride Marches in New Jersey, Los Angeles and New York. Leon will also have a hand in helping design the NFL bus wrap that will ride in the NYC Pride March. The capsule is an extension of the NFL’s efforts in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

The collection is now available on NFL Shop.

In case you missed it, the Moncler x FRGMT by Hiroshi Fujiwara collection has dropped.
