Early Look at the NAMESAKE x adidas SS24 Footwear Collaborations
The Taiwanese label whips up futuristic 4D slip-ons, a clean Response CL colorway and a creamy boot model.
Luxury labels like Gucci and Wales Bonner have brought a substantial amount of energy to adidas thanks to their consistent stream of collaborative projects in recent years. And since the German sportswear brand has found success in this sphere, it will be adding to NAMESAKE to its list of allies next year to produce a collection of joint footwear.
Recently teased on the runway during Paris Fashion Week Men’s SS24, the capsule features 4D-printed silhouettes and a crisp adidas Response CL installment new mid-cut models. The first silhouette has an upper that’s reminiscent of a Vault by Vans Slip On but it comes stacked above an aggressive sole piece. The new style has a latticed platform bottom and is accompanied by a bulbous collar and futuristic cage that dips down on the middle of the midsoles in the form of three stripes. Other 4D-infused models include a baby blue, mid-slung model that features zippered uppers and an identical sole attachment as well as a laceless boot that’s done up with a monochromatic cream hue and skews towards the fashion-forward side of the spectrum. Lastly, the Taiwanese imprint has fashioned a patriotic version of the classic adidas Response CL.
