Donald Glover Is Returning For the 'Community' Movie
As confirmed by co-star Joel McHale.
Donald Glover will officially be returning for the forthcoming Community movie.
The announcement was made by co-star Joel McHale during a recent appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, “Donald’s coming back and that’s really important. The fact that Donald’s gonna do it, that was the big piece.” He continued, “But I think everyone’s coming back. I mean, so far we’re pretty good. And I think that will happen. If not then, you know, Donald will be there.”
Although Peacock has not confirmed the news, McHale is essentially supporting Glover’s statements from April when he told GQ that “we’re supposed to be shooting it soon.” He added, “Haven’t seen the script, don’t know. In true Dan [Harmon] fashion, we’ll probably get it on the first day…it’s supposed to be happening. I know just as much about it as you do.”
Glover rounds out the main cast comprised of McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong.
