Chadwick Boseman, Dr. Dre, Michelle Yeoh and More To Join 2024 Hollywood Walk of Fame Class

The Walk of Fame Selection Panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have officially unveiled its Class of 2024, which will include the likes of the late Chadwick Boseman, Dr. Dre and Michelle Yeoh.

The honorees were selected from hundreds of nominees in six categories. The category of Motion Pictures named Boseman, Yeoh, Kevin Feige, Gal Gadot, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Meledandri, Chris Pine and Christina Ricci; the category of Television named Ken Jeong, Eugene Levy, Mario Lopez, Jim Nantz, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Michael Schur, Kerry Washington and Raúl De Molina and Lili Estefan; the category of Recording named Dr. Dre, Glen Ballard, Toni Braxton, Def Leppard, Charles Fox, Sammy Hagar, Brandy Norwood, Darius Rucker and Gwen Stefani; the category of Live Theatre/Live Performance named Jane Krakowski and the late Otis Redding; the category of radio named Angie Martinez; and the category of Sports Entertainment named Billie Jean King and Carl Weathers.

“The Selection Committee which is made up of fellow Walk of Famers, carefully hand-picks a group of honorees each year that represent various genres of the entertainment world,” Chair and Walk of Famer Ellen K said in a statement. “The Committee did an amazing job choosing these very talented people. We can’t wait to see each honoree’s reaction as they realize that they are becoming a part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway!”

Dates for the ceremonies are yet to be announced, with recipients eligible to schedule their ceremonies in the next two years.

Elsewhere in entertainment, James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy has found its Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
