Architect Andre Fu Joins CASETiFY to Design New Osaka Flagship Store
Taking design inspiration from traditional Shoji lanterns.
CASETiFY has announced the opening of its latest flagship store in Osaka, Japan. The brand has tapped Hong Kong-based architect Andre Fu to design the interior, reflecting the futuristic identity of the Shinsaibashi neighborhood inside.
The clean-cut store is spread across two floors, boasting a cream, red, and pink color palette. For the design, Andre Fu took inspiration from traditional Shoji lanterns used in Japanese homes to symbolize the beauty of light and shadows in life.
CASETiFY’s Osaka flagship store will honor its trademark customizable tech accessories through a hidden shoji window that delivers customer orders in a flash. The location will often welcome local and international creatives to exhibit their work, aiming to expand Japan’s immersive art culture through interactive events and activities.
