The nationwide roll-out comes shortly after Shake Shack tested the items at select New York City locations after a five-year design period. The menu is ideal for vegetarians and vegans alike, consisting of the Veggie Shack, Non-Dairy Chocolate Shake, and Non-Dairy Frozen Custard.
The Veggie Shack burger includes a vegetable patty that mimics the real thing, made from mushrooms, sweet potatoes, carrots, farro, and quinoa. The product is topped with plant-based American cheese alongside crispy onions, pickles, and ShackSauce.
The Chocolate Shake and Frozen Custard delivers a dairy-free alternative to Shake Shack classics produced with NotMilk™.
