Nike Dresses the Dunk Low in “Rose Whisper”
This one’s for the ladies.
It would be difficult to find another sneaker that has released in more colorways than the Nike Dunk Low over the past five years. While most silhouettes would have run its course, the Dunk Low continues to hold a cherished place within both fashion and street circles.
Sure, there have been plenty of creative spins on the shoe, with the Dunk Low CO.JP and the “Virgil Abloh™ x Futura Laboratories” being several of the many, but the recipe to the Dunk’s success has largely remained untouched — cementing its place as arguably one of Nike’s five greatest silhouettes ever.
To add to the Dunk’s rolodex of color options, the Swoosh is set to release a women’s exclusive “Rose Whisper” iteration. As is expected, the upper features a white leather base that is dressed in an elegant pink along the accents, laces, shoebox, Swoosh and rubber outsole.
For those looking to cop, the Nike Dunk Low “Rose Whisper will release on Nike and select retailers for $110 USD on June 2.
