Early Look at the Upcoming Dior x Birkenstock Tokio Mule Collaborations

Thibo Denis — the head of men’s footwear at Dior — just teased the next batch of upcoming Dior x Birkenstock Tokio sandal collaborations.

The upcoming collection will feature the Tokio sandal in three colorways, all of which are styled with a monochromatic motif. Serving as a follow-up to the successful collection launched in 2022, this new release takes a playful approach, embracing vibrant colors that align perfectly with the spirit of the summer season. This shift towards more vibrant hues represents a departure from the previous collection’s neutral-heavy color palette.

Construction-wise, the uppers are brought to life with luxe suede and feature a smooth leather strap that wraps around the ankle. Each is equipped with buckles for a secure fit as well as cork-infused midsole pieces and Dior‘s signature monogram pattern across the outsoles. Additionally, the French luxury label’s moniker is printed on the footbeds for extra flair.

At the time of writing, there is no hard launch date for these Tokio sandals yet, but you can likely expect them to launch in the coming months.
