Known for its cult following of fervent fans, Mitch Modes recently held a presentation and pop-up for his LIFE IS WAR label. Taking over Sized Studio in East Hollywood, the special two-day event started with a presentation for its latest “n u m b” collection. The special showcase featured attendance from Friends & Family of the label including The Weeknd, Jordan Clarkson, wakeupF1lthy, Shane Gonzales, Joy Divizn, Luka Sabbat, and more.

LIFE IS WAR describes its 2023 “n u m b” collection as a rejection of the agony and trauma life has given to us. “As these inevitable moments continuously arise We become n u m b. Yet we prevail by neglecting any form of suppression. We have Died once and we will Die again.” The collection stands as LIFE IS WAR’s first ready-to-wear collection comprised of Cut & Sew hoodies, T-shirts, denim overshirts, thermal wear, and women’s wear.

The following day saw the opening of a pop-up shop with a lookbook shoot featuring fans that came to shop T-shirt and tanktop styles presented the night before.

Speaking about the “n u m b” presentation and pop-up Mitch Modes said, “It served its purpose. Kids attended and left inspired. My family attended and left proud.” “My sole intention for this pop-up was to build a place for kids to come together and feel included. I wanted them to have a physical place to meet each other and progress the game we all love so much. Watching exactly that happen gave me a level of fulfillment you just can’t get on the Internet. Can’t wait for the next one.”

Take a look at a recap of LIFE IS WAR’s “n u m b” collection presentation and pop-up above. Head over to LIFE IS WAR’s website to shop the range now.
