When it comes to eccentric footwear, Balenciaga stands out from the rest. A shoe that feels generations old at this point — the Balenciaga Triple S Sneaker — first hit shelves in 2017 and has been iterated upon with countless colorways. Now, following the mind-boggling adidas x Balenciaga Triple S release, the classic fashion house has introduced a new mule version of the Triple S.
Dubbed the Triple S Mule, two classic colorways of the sneaker have returned with a chopped-off heel. The leather-free design is packed with familiar details such as the three-layer sole unit. Its double foam and mesh composition sees embroidery at the lateral reading “BALENCIAGA” while the European shoe size is noted at the toe. Its “Black” colorway combines black and red accents with off-white hits while the “White” version sees various creamy hues blend to create a monochromatic makeover.
